The JCCA is authorized to sponsor concessional or club related car registration schemes in Victoria, South Australia, Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia and the Australian Capital Territory.

Owners in Tasmania do not need to join a car club to receive concessional registration. However, the JCCA can assist members with registration if required.

As the statutory requirements vary between the jurisdictions, the JCCA must ensure that both the club and the member are in compliance with the laws in each jurisdiction.
